4.7 Changing the LCD Screen Backlight Timeout
You can define the duration (in seconds) for which the phone’s backlight is lit when the phone is
not being used (idle). After this duration expires, the backlight turns off. You can also decide to
have the backlight on all the time, by selecting the Always on option.
 To define the LCD screen’s backlight timeout:
1. From the idle screen, press the MENU key, select the Settings menu, and then select the
Backlight Timeout submenu.
The following screen appears:
2. Choose the backlight timeout (10 to 60 seconds or Always on), using the

Navigation keys, and then press ENTER.
3. Press the ENTER key to save your settings.
