4.8.1.2 Manually Loading Configuration File from a Computer
The configuration file can be placed in a folder on your local PC and then loaded directly to the
phone. The configuration file must have the extension *.cfg. The phone loads the configuration
file and updates the phone configuration after verifying that the configuration file is related to the
phone model and the version is later than the current one.
¾ To load a configuration file from a computer:
1. Access the ‘Auto-configuration’ page (Management tab > Firmware & Configuration menu
> Auto-configuration).

2. In the ‘File Location’ field, click the Browse button, navigate to the folder in which the file is
located, select the file, and then click Open; the path and file name appear in the field.
3. Click Submit.
