Thank

for choosing
an
Audio Telex
TX3014
dual
priority
voice
operated
mtte
module. The
TX30l4 allows for muting
of
channels 2-6
when
signal is
present
at channel
I and
also mute drannels
3-6
when
signal is
present
at channel 2. Installation
into
either
the Audio Telex
5A60,
SA120,
TX6000
or
TX8000
is made
simple by utilising
a
standard
'end'
type connector
plug
supplied
on the module
and
a
receptacle,
wtrich is
already installed into
the mixer or
"rnptifie".
Please follow^these
easy
instructions
for
installation.

I The installation
of the TX3014 involves
access to
the
inside
of the mixer
or amplifier. Installation
should
only be
attempted
by
a
qualified
technician.
Always
turn
olf the
AC
power
and remove
the AC
power
cord before attempting
to access
the inside
of these
products.

nearest
qualified
technician.
For
installation into
the
SA
SERIES mixer
amplifiers: Locate
the 8
pin
'end' connector
found
on
location
X3 on the
mixer
PCB in
between
the input
gain
pots
for
Ch. 2 and
Ch. 3. This
'end'
connector is
divided into
two
separate
parts
consisting
of
5
pins
and
3
pins.
Remove
both these filler
plugs
and discard.
Connect the module
to this receptacle,
ensuring that the black trace
found
on
the wires
of the module
is facing
the front
of the amplifier.
For
installation into
the
TX
SERIES
mixers:
As
per
installation insfuctions
above for the
SA SERIES
mixer
amplifiers.
Notes
The TX30l4 is
not
suitable for installation
into any
oth€r models
of
Audio
Telex mixers
or
amplifiers
other
than those listed
above.
For voice
operated muting
suitable
for
other models
please
refer
to either the TX30l0
or TX3028 modules.
