Factory sound systems have weak speakers and amplifiers contrib-
uting to poor bass response. To protect speakers from distorting
or being destroyed, car makers often limit the bass response that
is produced at higher volumes. This robs you of the bass that was
supposed to be in the music. AudioControl has developed the pat-
ent pending AccuBASS™ circuit to fix the limitation. AccuBASS™
automatically engages at a preset volume level and reverses the
factory roll-off to give you the bass the music was designed to have.
You get rock solid bass at all volume levels. Crank it up!

AudioControl looks at the process of line
output conversion a little differently. Pas-
sive LOCs have been used for years yet
they add distortion, reduce signal and
roll off bass. In short…they sound bad!
AudioControl’s Active, High Impedance
Input stage results in ruler-flat frequency
response so you get rock solid bass with-
out the signal roll-off you get with passive
LOCs. The AudioControl LC7i is also a low
distortion (typically <.01%) 8.5-volt line
driver as well as a line converter. You will
have sound quality every bit as good as an
aftermarket head unit while keeping the
convenience and features of the factory
installed source unit. In short, the LC7i
gives you the brilliant sound quality that
AudioControl has been providing for over
35 years.
