Installed in different rooms the
intercom system allows users
to speak and listen at each end
without having to press any
buttons. The kit is composed of
three separate modules: control
station, power supply, and
loudspeaker unit with integral
microphone.
The devices function in half-
duplex (one-at-a-time) mode
and activation thresholds are
modified automatically in relation
to environmental background
noise levels. The operator station
can enable one-way operation, i.e.
exclusively automatic listening,
with speak facility at the press of
a button.
