Convenience key including sensor-controlled release of
the luggage compartment lid
access authorisation system: the key only needs to be
carried with you; the vehicle is locked from outside via
buttons on all 4 door handles. The convenience key
system also includes aluminium-look strips on all door
handles. Upon detection of the foot gesture (kicking
movement), a sensor in the rear bumper initiates a
convenience key search in the rear area. When the key is
detected, this opens the luggage compartment lid. For
extra comfortable loading of the luggage compartment.
(The sensor-controlled luggage compartment release
only works in conjunction with the luggage
compartment lid, electrically opening and closing).
