Lights
LED headlights
featuring LED dipped beam, main beam, daytime
running lights, indicators, static turning light, all-
weather light and motorway light function with LED
technology; includes high-beam assist for automatic
switching between main and dipped beams, an all-
weather light function to reduce the risk of the driver
being dazzled when light conditions are poor (in fog,
rain or snow) and an additional motorway light which
automatically increases headlight range from a speed of
approximately 110 km/h; LED technology allows near
daylight illumination of the road; minimal energy
requirements, long service life, and excellent recognition
by other road users, thanks to the crisp Audi lighting
pattern with day and night design configurations
Light/rain sensor
automatically switches the dipped beam or windscreen
wipers on/off depending on the light and rain
conditions; includes delayed deactivation/automatic
activation of the rear lights/number plate lights when
parking/opening the vehicle
Interior and exterior lighting package
Exterior: courtesy lighting on the underside of the door
handles, LED door handle lighting to facilitate entry and
exit in the dark; automatically activated when the doors
are unlocked; includes passive internal door reflectors
Interior: luggage compartment and glove compartment
lighting. LED “Polar” (cold white) lighting for: roof
module with reading lights, door pockets, front and rear
footwells, inside door handles, door trim, make-up
lights, light bands between the grab handles at the side,
side-mounted reading lights at rear
Roof systems
Glass tilt/slide sunroof
with tinted single-glazed safety glass and infinitely
adjustable sun shield; wind deflector extends
automatically in stages depending on roof opening and
speed; convenience closing from outside via the central
locking system and the radio-operated remote control
Solar tilt/slide sunroof
solar cells in the roof provide the power required to
generate a continuous flow of air to reduce passenger
compartment temperature when the vehicle is parked;
operated like the glass sliding/tilting sunroof (but has
no infinitely adjustable sun shield)
Closing systems
Engine start-stop button
with a red ring; the engine is started and switched off via
the engine start-stop button in the centre console; the
key only needs to be carried with you
Luggage compartment lid, automatically opening,
including power-assisted closing
the luggage compartment lid automatically swings
open to facilitate loading when the luggage compartment
lid is opened via the radio-operated remote control,
the button is in the driver’s door or the soft-touch button
in the handle recess of the luggage compartment lid;
manual closing of the luggage compartment lid,
including power-assisted closing which automatically
pulls the luggage compartment lid into the lock should
it not be completely engaged
Luggage compartment lid, electrically opening and
closing
opening via the radio-operated remote control, button
on the driver’s door panel or soft touch button in the
luggage compartment lid handle recess or by kicking
movement in conjunction with convenience key including
sensor-controlled release of the luggage compartment
lid; closing via button on inside of luggage compartment
lid, the button in the driver’s door or via the convenience
key (long press)
Garage door opener (Homelink)
programmable radio-operated remote control, operating
buttons incorporated into the front roof module; can be
used to open many garage doors and exterior gates;
allows control of security and lighting systems; with
programming assistance provided by the MMI, code
identification guidance and set-up assistance from
appropriate logbook information on the screen. (For

Convenience key
access authorisation system: the key only needs to be
carried with you; the vehicle is locked from outside via
buttons on all 4 door handles. The convenience key
system also includes aluminium-look strips on all door
handles.
Power-assisted closing for the doors
doors that have not completely closed are pulled into
the lock automatically; includes electric child locks on
the rear doors, operated via the child lock buttons in the
driver’s door armrest
Anti-theft alarm
with tow-away protection, monitors doors, bonnet,
luggage compartment lid and the interior: includes an
electronic immobiliser, ultrasonic interior monitoring
(can be deactivated) and back-up horn independent of
the vehicle electrical system; tow-away protection via a
vehicle angle of inclination sensor (can be deactivated);
incorporated into the engine control unit; automatically
activated by the vehicle key
Fitting for Tracking Assistant
fitting for connecting a Tracking Assistant that enables
a stolen vehicle to be located
Ambient lighting
anti-glare LED lighting for the passenger compartment.
Comprises ambient light band in roof module and light
bands between the grab handles at the sides to provide
background lighting during the journey. Lighting for
door pockets, footwells and inside door handles,
reflected lighting for centre console and door inner
panels to help occupants find their way around.
Surround lighting for the centre console (floating
effect), illuminated door sill trims and active door
reflectors. Can be personalised by adjusting the
brightness within 4 different zones, each with
20 dimming stages and by selecting one of three colour
moods: Polar (cold white), Ivory (warm white) and Ruby/
Polar (red/cold white). Configured via MMI
adaptive brake light
brake light flashes during emergency braking to warn
following traffic; hazard warning lights are activated
automatically when the vehicle comes to a stop
LED rear lights
LED brake lights tail lights and indicators; faster
activation means earlier recognition by the driver
behind; reversing lights in white, 2 rear fog lights;
3rd high-mounted brake light in the rear window

Mirrors
Exterior mirrors with integrated LED indicators
electrically adjustable, heated and folding,
automatically dimming on both sides with memory
function; convex, flat or aspherical mirror glass

headlights behind are too bright and dims automatically
