Trailer towing hitch
mechanically swivelling, forged steel sphere bar
and ball head; operated via pull button in luggage
compartment, control light in luggage compartment
and display in instrument cluster to monitor secure
attachment of trailer; includes trailer stabilisation
function via the Electronic Stabilisation Control (ESC).
The integrated swivelling system socket enables
continuous operation of electrical equipment in the
trailer or caravan during a journey.
Power-assisted door closing

programmable radio-operated remote control with

Anti-theft alarm
monitors doors, bonnet and luggage compartment lid;
includes interior monitoring (can be deactivated), tow-
away protection via a tilt angle sensor and signal horn
independent of the vehicle electrical system; with safe-
locking function: prevents the doors from being opened
from the inside once the vehicle has been locked
with
the radio-operated remote control
Preparation for tracking system
preparation for connecting a tracking system (available
from Audi Genuine Accessories) that enables a stolen
vehicle to be located and tracked
Convenience key including sensor-controlled release of the luggage compartment lid
doors and luggage compartment lid can be opened and locked without actuating the key carried with you; doors
are unlocked automatically by touching the door handles (all door handles have an aluminium-look trim strip, door
handles in body colour in conjunction with Audi exclusive black gloss package), the luggage compartment by operating
the handle strip on the luggage compartment lid. Moving your foot (in a kicking motion) below the rear bumper
causes the luggage compartment lid to swing open automatically when the vehicle key is recognised. Theluggage
compartment lid can also be opened separately when the vehicle is locked.
Luggage compartment lid, electrically opening and closing
opening via button on the vehicle key or in the driver’s door or the soft touch button in the luggage compartment
lid handle; additionally by means of foot gesture (kicking motion) if convenience key with sensor-controlled release
of luggage compartment lid is ordered; closing via button on the inside of the luggage compartment lid, the button
in the driver’s door or the optional convenience key (long press). In conjunction withthe convenience key, it is possible
to close the luggage compartment lid and simultaneously lock the car viaan additional button on the inside of the

Driver information system

determines that the driver’s attention is lapsing.
The
system is active from around 65 to 200 km/h and
can be deactivated. An integrated efficiency program
provides consumption data overviews.
Driver information system with colour display

system on a high-resolution 7-inch colour display with
an even better overview and readability; additional
display of information from the driver assistance
systems, the media being used, outside temperature
and other display content from the MMI system – if
