Radio and TV systems
Digital radio reception
receives programmes from digitally broadcast radio
transmitters in addition to the range of analogue
stations, with better sound quality, including DAB+ and
DMB audio. In conjunction with MMI navigation plus with
MMI touch, a second DAB tuner permanently searches for
alternative reception frequencies of the set radio station;
at the same time the station list is updated. Please note:
reception depends on local digital network availability
TV reception
Reception of digitally-broadcast (DVB-T) uncoded
television stations (MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 standard), DVB-T
audio stations, teletext and Electronic Programme Guide
(EPG). External AV-IN connection via adapter cable
(available through Audi Genuine Accessories). Please note:
TV reception depends on digital network availability. No
AV or TV video output whilst the car is being driven (audio
output also available while the car is being driven)
Fitting for Rear Seat Entertainment
includes pre-installation wiring and mounts for the
holders in the driver and front-passenger seat backrests.
The appropriate Rear Seat Entertainment package
(tablet player with holder) is available as a plug-and-play
unit from Audi Genuine Accessories.
Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System
surround sound reproduction with 15 loudspeakers
(including subwoofer and centre speaker), each with its own
amplifier channel; polished loudspeaker covers in
aluminium; automatically extending acoustic lenses for
excellent sound performance and perspective from every
seat; 10-channel DSP all-digital amplifier; all-digital highly
efficient 5-channel ICE Power amplifiers for woofers and
subwoofers; total output of over 1,200 watts; 5.1 Surround
Sound reproduction possible; privacy function: encapsulated
loudspeaker casings minimise escape of sound to the
outside of the vehicle and provide privacy, for example when
making telephone calls in hands-free mode; a precisely

in the glove compartment, for 6 CDs, MP3 and WMA
compatible, shock resistant, no cartridge, CDs can be
loaded and changed individually. Music files with digital
rights management (DRM) cannot be played
Audi music interface
for connecting generation 4 and higher Apple iPods, an
Apple iPhone (music functionality) and USB storage
media and MP3 players. The Audi music interface is
housed in the centre console; it is operated via the MMI
or the leather-covered multifunction steering wheel.

Bluetooth car phone online
your Bluetooth-compatible mobile phone can be
conveniently connected to the vehicle’s internal UMTS
module (provided the mobile telephone has a SIM Access
Profile), additional SIM card reader in the surround of the
MMI navigation plus with MMI touch. Transfer of phone
book entries to the vehicle and management of call lists.
Including the Audi connect services traffic information
online, point-of-interest search, navigation by means of
Google Earth images and Street View, destination entry,
information services e.g. weather and WiFi hotspot for
Internet access in the rear using a mobile end device
(e.g. laptop). Because of the high data volume involved
(currently relating in particular to navigation with the help
of Google Earth images and WiFi hotspot) a mobile phone
contract including a data flat rate is strongly
recommended. The content and scope of the Audi connect
services offered may vary and are only available for mobile
phone contracts including a data download option and
only within the coverage of the mobile phone network;
additional costs arise for the use of these services (charges
and billing correspond to your personal mobile phone
contract); they are only offered in Europe (in Russia only in
the Moscow and St. Petersburg areas; not in Turkey,
Cyprus, Malta and Iceland); simple operation via MMI
navigation plus with MMI touch; a leather-covered
multifunction steering wheel or the voice control system.
