When our experts test the quality of genuine Audi
wheels, they are just as innovative as our designers.
Intense heat, high humidity, strong sunlight – the
number of possible tests is almost limitless. The most
extreme endurance test, however, is the copper
accelerated salt spray test, or CASS for short. Here,
wheels damaged by simulated stone impacts prior to
the test are then sprayed with this extremely corrosive
solution over a period of several days. They must
withstand all these challenging conditions without any
noticeable deterioration to ensure that, even after
covering many kilometres, you remain just as delighted
with the design of your genuine Audi wheels as you
were on the very first day.
