Hold assist
holds the vehicle stationary for unlimited periods after
stopping on hills and on gradients usual in road traffic.
The system is activated by push-button and allows the
driver to drive off easily and comfortably.
Cruise control
at speeds of 30 km/h and above, the system keeps the
set speed constant, provided that engine power and
engine braking effect permit it; operated via separate
steering column stalk, set speed displayed in driver
information system (if fitted).
Audi pre sense basic
Networking the different vehicle systems enables
driving situations to be categorised and, where
necessary, actions to be implemented for preventive
occupant protection. These include: tensioning of
the front seat belts as well as closing of the windows
and – if fitted – the panoramic glass sunroof.

Park assist with selective display
as parking system plus with selective display; in addition ultrasonic sensors are used to search for parking spaces
by the roadside, calculate the ideal parking path for cross parking spaces and the ideal path for parking and leaving
kerb-side parking spaces; the steering action is performed entirely by the system. Assisted parking is now even
possible in smaller parking spaces and bend areas; parking in several moves is supported. Steering is done by the
vehicle, while the driver only needs to accelerate and apply the brakes and monitor the parking process. The display
of surroundings has 4 additional sensors which, depending on the steering angle, indicate obstacles detected all
around and at the side of the vehicle and warn the driver, thus supporting comfortable parking and leaving of
parking spaces by showing the lane in conjunction with MMI navigation plus with MMI touch; can optionally be
ordered with reversing camera

Parking system, rear
makes reverse parking easier within system limits by indicating acoustically how far away the vehicle is from an
object detected behind the vehicle; measurement is by ultrasonic sensors integrated discreetly in the bumper
Parking system plus with selective display
acoustic and visual parking aid for front and rear. Working within system limits, a white segment indicates a
detected obstacle outside the vehicle. Red segments represent obstacles in the driving path. This provides the
driver with a selective optical view in the MMI display of all the objects recognised, depending on the current
bend radius
and direction of travel. The virtual lane display in conjunction with MMI navigation plus with MMI touch
additionally
provides guidelines at the sides which are calculated in advance depending on the current angle of
turn, thus
supporting comfortable parking and leaving of parking spaces; measurement is integrated discreetly in
the bumpers
via ultrasonic sensors; can optionally be ordered with rearview camera

Dynamic suspension
McPherson spring strut type axle at the front with
aluminium lower wishbones, aluminium subframe and
tubular stabiliser. 4-link rear axle with separate
spring/damper arrangement, subframe and tubular
stabiliser; the 1.2 TFSI (77 kW) and 1.6 TDI (77 kW)
engines have a lightweight compound link rear
suspension.
Sport suspension
with a body lowered by 15 mm, stiffer springs and
damper tuning for more direct contact with the road
and sportier handling.
S sport suspension
more dynamic spring/damper setting and
vehicle lowered by 25 mm
S line sport suspension
more dynamic spring/damper setting and
vehicle lowered by 10 mm compared with the sport
suspension or by 25 mm compared with the dynamic
suspension
Audi magnetic ride
Improved driving comfort and driving dynamics thanks
to the regulation of the damping forces based on the
driving situation. Adaptive damper system with three
individual selections of suspension settings (auto/
comfort/dynamic). Can be set via Audi drive select
(optional for TFSI and TDI engines from 103 kW).
