Audi phone box
enables drivers to use their mobile phone in the car
by placing it in the compartment provided in the front
centre console; comprises a hands-free facility and
voice control for the telephone functions; including
connection to the vehicle aerial via the integrated
coupling aerial in the storage compartment, reducing
SAR radiation inside the vehicle and improving reception
quality; can be charged via USB port; it is operated
via the radio/navigation systems or a multifunction
leather steering wheel (if fitted). Please contact your

Bluetooth interface
Bluetooth-capable mobile phones can be connected
to the vehicle via the interface; hands-free calls
are possible in the vehicle via the microphone.

Audi music interface
for the connection of portable media players such
as Apple iPod, Apple iPhone (music functionality) as
well as USB storage media and MP3 players. The
Audi music interface is housed in the centre console;
it is operated via the MMI, a multifunction leather
steering wheel or voice control. Note: can only be
used with a special adapter cable (Audi Genuine

Radio systems Audi connect
convenient connection of your vehicle to the internet
for the use of Audi connect via an integrated data
module with LTE¹-/UMTS support. There is a reader for
your SIM card in the surround of the MMI navigation
plus with MMI touch.

Use of the services supported by Audi connect is
possible only with the optional MMI navigation plus
equipment and with Audi connect (including car phone
– depending on vehicle model). Depending on the
vehicle model, you also require a SIM card with data
option and also with LTE option to use LTE¹ – with car
phone a SIM card with phone and data option or a
Bluetooth-capable smartphone with remote SIM
Access Profile (rSAP). The services are available only
with an existing or separate mobile phone contract
and only within the range of the respective mobile
phone network. Additional costs may be incurred when
receiving data packets from the internet, depending

Note: in conjunction with the Audi music interface,
