mation (manoeuvring points, points of interest on
motorways, TMC on route), detailed junction map and

Digital radio reception (DAB),
digital stations can be received as well as analogue
stations. Additionally, DAB+ and DMB audio can be re-
ceived to DAB standard in conjunction with MMI Naviga-
tion or MMI navigation plus. With the DAB twin tuner
(only available in conjunction with MMI navigation and
MMI navigation plus), a second DAB tuner continually
searches for alternative reception frequencies of the se-
lected radio station; at the same time the station list is
updated. Please note: reception depends on local digital
network availability
TV reception
for MMI Navigation plus, reception of analogue and dig-
itally-broadcast (DVB-T) unencrypted television stations
(MPEG-2 standard), TV image, teletext and EPG (Elec-
tronic Programme Guide). Facility to connect 2 external
AV sources via the optional adapter cable. Please note:
TV reception depends on local analogue and digital net-
work availability. No AV or TV video output when driving
(audio output available when driving). (Can only be or-
dered in conjunction with MMI navigation plus)
Audi sound system,
6-channel amplifier, 10 speakers including centre
speaker in the dashboard and subwoofer in the parcel
shelf, total output 180 watts.
Bang & Olufsen Sound System
Surround sound reproduction via 14 high-performance
speakers; 1 centre speaker and 2 midrange speakers in
the dashboard; 1 tweeter in each mirror quadrant;
1 woofer in each front door; 2 tweeters and 2 low/
midrange speakers in the side panel trims; 2 surround
sound speakers and 1 subwoofer in the rear parcel shelf;
exclusive speaker covers with aluminium trims, dynamic
driving noise compensation, 10-channel amplifier; total
output 505 watts. 5.1 surround sound reproduction is
possible in conjunction with MMI navigation plus and
the integral DVD player.
CD changer
in the glove compartment, for 6 CDs (MP3 and WMA
compatible), shock resistant, easily accessible; no maga-
zine – each CD can be loaded and changed individually.
Music files with digital rights management (DRM) can-
not be played. (Can only be ordered in conjunction with
an MMI navigation system
Audi music interface
for connecting generation 4 and higher Apple iPods, an
Apple iPhone (music functionality) and USB storage
media and MP3 players. The Audi music interface is
located in the glove compartment and is operated via
MMI navigation plus, MMI navigation, symphony radio,
concert radio or the RS 5 multifunction leather sports
steering wheel. Can only be used in conjunction with a
special adapter cable (Audi Genuine Accessories).

compatible MP3 players. (If Audi music interface is
ordered, the AUX-in connection is omitted)
Telephones and communications
Bluetooth interface
Bluetooth-compatible mobile phones can be connected
to the vehicle via the interface. Hands-free calls can be
made in the vehicle by using the microphone.
Mobile phone fitting (Bluetooth)
comprises a hands-free facility and voice control for
telephone functions as well as a fitting for an optional
mobile-specific charger; operated via MMI navigation
plus, MMI navigation, concert radio, symphony radio,
the RS 5 multifunction leather sports steering wheel or,
if fitted, via the speech dialogue system; please contact
your Audi partner for adapters and information about
which mobile phones are compatible.
Audi Bluetooth car phone,
your Bluetooth-capable mobile phone can be conven-
iently connected to the GSM module inside the vehicle
(provided your mobile has SIM Access Profile), addition-
al SIM card reader located in the surround of the MMI
navigation or MMI navigation plus. Transfer of phone
book entries to the vehicle and management of call
lists; simple operation using MMI navigation/MMI
navigation plus, the RS 5 multifunction leather sports
steering wheel or the speech diallogue system. (Can only
be ordered in conjunction with an MMI navigation
system)
Bluetooth car phone with wireless handset
in addition to the Audi Bluetooth car phone, includes a
wireless handset with colour display and integral SIM
card reader, for making private calls; easy writing of text
messages thanks to automatic word recognition. Hand-
set located in the centre armrest. (Can only be ordered
in conjunction with an MMI navigation system)
