to the vehicle via the interface. Hands-free calls can
be made in the vehicle via the microphone. Including

including a hands-free device and voice control for
the telephone functions and a fitting for an optional
mobile-specific charger; operated via the MMI
navigation plus (Q7: operation also via MMI
navigation, MMI radio plus), the leather-covered
multifunction steering wheel or, if available, via the

Bluetooth car phone
Your Bluetooth-capable mobile phone can be
conveniently connected to the vehicle’s internal GSM
module (provided the mobile phone has an SIM Access
Profile), additional SIM card reader located in the
surround of the MMI navigation. Transfer of phone book
entries to the vehicle and management of call lists;
simple operation using MMI navigation, leather-covered
multifunction steering wheel or voice control system

with colour display and integrated SIM card reader,
for making private calls; texts can be easily written
thanks to automatic word recognition. Handset is

Your Bluetooth-compatible mobile phone can be
conveniently connected to the vehicle’s internal UMTS
module (provided the mobile telephone has a SIM
Access profile), additional SIM card reader located in
the surround of the MMI navigation plus. Transfer of
phone book entries to the vehicle and management
of call lists. Including the Audi connect services traffic
information online¹, point-of-interest search,
navigation by means of Google Earth images and
Street View, destination entry, information services
e.g. weather and Wi-Fi hotspot for Internet access in
the rear using a mobile end device (e.g. laptop).
Because of the high data volumes (currently concerns
in particular navigation with the aid of Google Earth
images and Wi-Fi hotspot), a mobile phone contract
including a data flat rate is strongly recommended.
The content and scope of the Audi connect services
offered may vary and are only available for mobile
phone contracts including a data option and only
within the coverage of the mobile phone network;
additional costs arise for the use of these services
(charges and billing correspond to your personal
mobile phone contract); they are only offered in
Europe (in Russia only in the Moscow and St.
Petersburg areas; not in: Turkey, Cyprus, Malta and
Iceland); simple operation via MMI navigation plus,
leather-covered multifunction steering wheel or voice

adaptive cruise control
automatic distance control (control range from 0 to 200 km/h); working within system limits, it uses a radar
sensor to detect vehicles ahead and maintains this distance by braking and accelerating; 4 programs can be
selected individually via the steering column stalk of the cruise control; including Audi braking guard with warning
for driver of an imminent collision with a vehicle travelling in front provided by observation of surroundings

lane change assistant, from a speed of 30 km/h, monitors within system limits the area at the side behind the
vehicle as it is driving along and informs the driver via an LED display in the exterior mirror if the system has
detected another vehicle in the adjacent lane; can be activated via the button in the driver’s door
