Lights
xenon plus including headlight cleaning system
Headlights with durable gas discharge technology
for dipped and high beam enable an intensive
illumination of the road with evenness and range, both
close-up and in the distance. The automatic dynamic
headlight range control prevents oncoming traffic
from being dazzled; Q7*: LED daytime running lights
with low power consumption; Q7 V12: LED daytime
running lights with 12 LEDs each on the left and right
of the bumper with low power consumption
Headlights
Halogen headlights using free-form technology with
clear glass cover, electric headlight range control,
daytime running lights, indicator incorporated in the
bumper with integrated parking light function
High-beam assist
within system limits, it automatically detects the
headlights of oncoming traffic, the rear lights of other
road users and built-up areas. Depending on the traffic
situation, the high beam automatically adjusts to
dipped-beam and vice versa. The system thereby
improves the driver’s visibility and ensures a more
relaxed drive thanks to the extra comfort and
convenience.
Interior lighting
with delayed switch-off and contact switches on all
doors, includes exiting lights at the front, footwell
lights at the front and luggage compartment lighting
as well as reading lights, 2 each at the front and rear

adaptive light*
dynamic cornering light provided by swivelling headlights; the headlights swivel into the approaching corner or
bend to provide better illumination; operational between speeds of approx. 10 km/h and 110 km/h. (Q7: including
turning light, illuminates the front side areas of the vehicle with a separate light source at low speeds and the
steering wheel turned; at speeds of more than 110 km/h, motorway light is activated, for which the cut-off line is
symmetrically raised, thus providing better illumination at larger distances.)
