Your Audi also bears
our mark of special efficiency.
Our vehicles embody not only sportiness,
progress and technical innovations, but also the
intelligent use of resources.
One example: the TDI engines with common rail
technology. Their combination of direct injection
and turbocharging guarantees highly efficient
diesel fuel combustion. The TFSI engines work
according to the same principle and also impress
through increased power and torque coupled
with reduced consumption. Audi engines have
been subject to an ongoing development process
for years. This means that today, they are more
powerful than ever before – despite reduced
overall weight and thus reduced consumption.
Impressive proof of our strategy of obtaining
more power from less engine displacement.
The start-stop system and recuperation feature
guarantee even more efficiency in the Q7
(except Q7 V12).
The automatic transmission tiptronic makes
a decisive contribution to the reduction of
consumption and emissions thanks to its low
engine speed level at higher driving speeds.
And when the vehicle is at a standstill, the
converter lock-up avoids unnecessary energy losses.
The convincing features of the optional xenon plus
headlights with LED daytime running lights as well
as the standard LED rear lights are not only their
unmistakeable design but also their low energy
requirements. The onboard computer with efficiency
program will help you exploit further saving
potentials by indicating which convenience functions
are active and how high the overall consumption is.
You see, the Audi Q7 and Q7 V12 TDI quattro
feature a whole range of technologies that will
make your journey not only more comfortable
and dynamic, but more efficient, too. Find out
more on the next few pages.
The fuel consumption and CO₂ emission figures can be found from page 106 onwards.
