The entry and start authorisation control unit and
the steering column form a single unit, as in the
Audi A6 ‘05. The control unit is attached to the
steering column by tear-off screws, and cannot be
replaced separately. If it is necessary to replace the
entry and start authorisation control unit, the
steering column must also be replaced.
