Under high energy expenditure, Bauxite is
processed into aluminium oxide and then via
electrolysis into primary aluminium pig.
By the addition of magnesium and silicon (the
key alloy components) it is then transformed
into high quality aluminium alloys.
These alloys form the foundation for extruded
profiles, cast joints and rolled sheet metal
aluminium.
