This cast joint joins the longitudinal members
I and II with the bulkhead, floor assembly and
the wheel housing shell.

The folding lines on an extruded profile
during a crash can be reproduced (calculated
in advance).
Front subframe support
This part provides a rigid, shaped connection
between two completely different profile
geometries and at the same time forms the
very rigid subframe attachment, with ribbing
and varied wall thicknesses. The threaded
plate for the subframe bolts is supported
without additional mountings or
reinforcements.
