A fine finishing touch.
Not just any wood is allowed to adorn the interior of your Audi. The fine veneers
for the inlays are stripped from the trunks and so-called root burls. Normally, a
set of veneers for one car comes from just one burl or trunk to minimise variation.
The production process utilises both state-of-the-art machines and the oldest tool
in the world – the human hand, with some parts being crafted and polished
manually to give them a unique feel.
