The Powermeter means you’re always in the
picture about the current hybrid operating
modes, such as pure electric driving, boost or
recuperation. You can choose whether to put the
emphasis on high efficiency or a dynamic driving
style. The EV mode is activated by a push button
and has been designed for extended electric
driving. As in all other Audi A8 models, you can
use the selector lever to choose between D and S
mode. In the Audi A8 hybrid and A8 L hybrid, the
D mode maintains an efficient balance between
consumption and performance. In the S mode,
the electric motor is used as reinforced support
