The 4.0 TFSI engine with 382 kW uses the power of its eight cylinders only when needed:
accordingly, the Audi cylinder-on-demand technology lowers the fuel consumption and
emissions. From 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds – this is also thanks to the unique
lightweight construction of the Audi Space Frame (ASF®). Additional top-level driving
dynamics are ensured by the quattro permanent all-wheel drive with sport differential;
this is specifically tuned to the S8 and increases its agility even more.
