Many hours of development time.
Thousands of miles of testing.
And for what reason?

Audi valvelift system
and double camshaft adjustment
dual FSI/MPI injection system
power unit with reduced friction losses
fully electronic coolant regulation
2.0L TFSI (132 kW)
In just a few seconds you will understand why.
In FSI® technology, the fuel is injected directly
into the combustion chamber and atomised into
a fine spray. This way, the fuel – metered to
almost droplet precision – can be called upon
the millisecond that the engine requires it. This
means better utilisation of the fuel and ultimately
makes reduced consumption possible.
The Audi A6 employs TFSI technology. And the
remarkable thing about it is that it combines the
advantages of FSI with turbocharging, which
ensures even better power delivery. This combination
of the FSI concept and a turbo charger not only
enables remarkable efficiency and impressive
dynamics, but also
improves the engine’s pulling
power. You will notice it as soon as you accelerate
the 2.0L TFSI engine with 132 kW (180 hp). When
combined with the
multitronic transmission it
takes you from 0 to 100 km/h
in 8.3 seconds.
