Auxiliary heating/ventilation
The auxiliary heater warms up the interior and
removes ice from the windows without starting the
engine; the auxiliary ventilation system supplies fresh
air and reduces the temperature of the interior; with
timer and departure time programming (an intelligent
control function for time and energy-optimised
calculation of heating duration); separate radio-
operated remote control with illuminated display;
choice of 2 heating modes: “defrost” (defrosting mode
only for the windows), “warm” (warming up mode to
additionally preheat the interior)
Climate control
4-zone deluxe automatic air conditioning
with indirect ventilation and sunlight-dependent
control, electronically regulates the air temperature,
flow rate and distribution, with humidity sensor
and combined/fine particulate filter; automatic
recirculation mode by means of air quality sensor;
use of residual heat, separate regulation of footwell
temperature, ventilated glove department; front
control panel with digital display, separate
temperature control for driver and front-passenger
sides and for rear passengers; ventilation in the rear
via the centre console and air vents in the B pillars;
additional air conditioning controls with digital
display for climate control in the rear with separately
adjustable temperature and blower settings and
air distribution for the right and left-hand sides
(rear functions can also be set from the front air
conditioning control); choice of 3 climates: gentle,
medium, intensive; key-coded settings
