Closing systems
Convenience key including sensor-controlled release of the luggage compartment lid
Upon detection of a specific foot gesture (kicking motion), a sensor in the rear bumper initiates a convenience key
search in the area to the rear of the vehicle. When the key is detected, this opens the luggage compartment lid.
For extra comfort when loading the luggage compartment
Luggage compartment lid, electrically opening and closing
opened by the radio-operated remote control, the button in the driver’s door panel or the soft-touch button in
the luggage compartment lid handle recess; on A6/A6 Avant and S6/S6 Avant also optionally with convenience key

programming assistance provided by the MMI, code identification guidance and set-up assistance from
appropriate logbook information on the screen. User-friendly thanks to highly integrated networking with MMI.

with tow-away protection via angle of inclination sensors (can be switched off); including interior monitoring
