Driver information system
displays a host of useful information on a 3.5-inch
monochrome display in the driver’s direct field of
vision. Attention assist provides a warning in the
driver information system and via acoustic signal if
it has evaluated that the driver’s attention is lapsing.
The system is active between around 65 km/h and
200km/h and can be deactivated. An integrated
efficiency program provides consumption data
overviews.

on a high-resolution colour display with an even
better overview and readability; also possible to
display information from assistance systems (if
ordered)
Digital Audio Broadcasting
in addition to the range of analogue stations,
reception of digitally broadcast radio stations³
broadcast according to DAB standard, including
DAB+ and, in conjunction with MMI navigation or
MMI navigation plus, also DMB audio; display of
information accompanying the programme (e.g. artist
and track, if provided by the respective radio station)
as well as additional information in the form of a slide
show (e.g. cover, weather)
Digital TV reception
reception of digitally broadcast (DVB-T), uncoded
television stations³ (MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 standard),
DVB-T audio stations, teletext and Electronic
Programme Guide (EPG); external AV-IN connection
via adapter cable is possible; no picture possible
when the vehicle is moving
Audi music interface
Portable media players⁴ such as Apple iPod, Apple
iPhone (music functionality) as well as USB storage
media and MP3 players may be connected by means
of special adapter cables available from Audi Genuine
Accessories. Located in the glove compartment;
operation via MMI or radio controls or multifunction
leather steering wheel (if ordered). In conjunction
with the Audi music interface, the separate AUX-IN
connection is omitted.

Apple iPod/iPhone with dock connection (e.g. iPhone4)
as well as data storage devices/media players⁴ with
USB port (type A); other adapter cables are available
from Audi Genuine Accessories

Same features as the adapter cable set for the Audi
music interface, plus possibility of cover art display
and video functions in connection with Apple iPhone
and more recent Apple iPod generations⁴ (depending
on the device used).
