Don’t let the road tell you which way to go. The quattro permanent all-wheel drive distributes the
drive force to the front and rear axle as required. The self-locking centre differential with wheel-
selective torque distribution supports even more precise and dynamic cornering.
The efficient engine and the wide track bring you through off-road terrain with impressive propulsion.
In doing so, quattro is supported by the electromechanical power steering and the Electronic Stability
Control (ESC) with off-road detection. Off-road detection recognises the quality of the ground and
varies the use of the electronics accordingly. The increased ground clearance turns the A4 allroad
quattro into a vehicle even for poor roads – and turns poor roads into the most attractive routes.
