Upon request, the A4 can be fitted with Audi drive
select – an innovative feature that changes the feel of
your Audi at the touch of a button, simply by selecting
one of the different vehicle settings: comfort, auto,
dynamic, efficiency or – in conjunction with an MMI
navigation system – individual.
Working within system limits, three optional assistance
systems support you during every trip. Audi active lane
assist warns you if you inadvertently drift out of your
lane, while Audi side assist signals if there is another
vehicle in your direct vicinity in the adjacent lane
during lane changing, for example. adaptive cruise
control additionally keeps the correct distance from
the vehicle in front.
The electromechanical power steering works depending
on the speed and ensures greater steering precision
and comfort. In addition, it only requires power if you
actively request steering support.
Also new: the attention assist in the driver information
system which analyses driving behaviour and
recommends breaks, thus supporting the driver during
longer journeys.
