The engines in the Audi A4: progressive, powerful, efficient. All the petrol engines
are equipped with TFSI, a logical combination of economical direct injection and
turbocharging or mechanical supercharger module. The TDI engines feature common
rail injection technology and a diesel particulate filter; the 3.0 TDI engine is also
available as a clean diesel version. As standard, all engines are equipped with
the start-stop system and recuperation, which puts them among the most fuel-
efficient engines of their class.
