They say there’s an exception to every rule. Consider it a gripping find, then, that
available Audi quattro® all-wheel drive is the exception. Much more than just a
foul-weather friend, it’s performance engineering that helps you take on a dry,
twisty mountain road as beautifully as it can help you track through powder.
1
In
other words, quattro® helps enhance performance by appropriately transferring
power to the necessary wheels when accelerating and turning, so you have confi-
dence-inspiring performance for almost any road condition. Who wouldn’t want
to make an exception for that?
We found an exception
to the rule of three. Four.
All-around confidence
Just like life, the road can throw you a curve. So throw one
right back with the superior grip and control of quattro®.
It helps provide the legendary performance and handling
you would expect from Audi, no matter if you’re accelerat-
ing in the passing lane or carving up a mountain road. This
is advanced engineering designed for everyday thrills.

Center dierential
To help give you optimal traction in practically every situ-
ation, the center dierential can distribute power to the
front and rear wheels individually. During normal driving
conditions, it directs 85 percent of the torque to the front
wheels, but in extreme circumstances, it can transfer up
to 100 percent of the torque to one of the two axles.

ensure that your vehicle is equipped with appropriate all-season or winter tires. Even with appropriate tires, you must always drive
in a manner appropriate for the weather, visibility and road conditions. 2 Always obey all speed and trac laws.

All-out performance
Audi hasn’t dominated motorsports around the world by
playing nice.
2
That’s why quattro® features one of the most
fierce performance features around—torque vectoring. By
taking into account your steering input and desired level of
acceleration, it can independently brake the inside wheels
through a corner and transfer torque to the outside wheels,
helping to promote neutral handling.
