S tronic
The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission facilitates rapid
gear shifting with hardly any perceptible interruption
in power flow; can be operated via the optional shift
paddles behind the steering wheel, the gear lever
knob or in automatic mode
Front-wheel drive
Electronic Differential Lock EDL through intervention
of the braking system on all driven wheels, traction
control (ASR), Electronic Stabilisation Programme
(ESP) with brake assist
Recuperation
Increasing the generator voltage converts kinetic ener-
gy into usable electrical energy when the vehicle is
coasting or braking. This energy is then used to assist
the alternator during subsequent acceleration, there-
by enabling fuel savings of up to 3 % to be achieved
Start-stop system
reduces fuel consumption and CO₂ emission by switch-
ing off the engine when the vehicle is stationary, e.g.
at traffi c lights. The starting process is initiated as
soon as the driver presses the clutch (on manual trans-
missions) or releases the foot brake (S tronic) for a
perfect getaway. Can be deactivated at any time via
the switch
Audi extended warranty
can only be ordered directly and on purchase of a new
car; is a consitent continuation of the manufacturer’s
guarantee so that you are protected against risk and
can control servicing costs even after the first two
years. 9 combinations of service life and mileage can
be selected:
1 additional year under Audi extended warranty,
maximum total mileage of 30,000 km
1 additional year under Audi extended warranty,
maximum total mileage of 60,000 km
1 additional year under Audi extended warranty,
maximum total mileage of 90,000 km
2 additional years under Audi extended warranty,
maximum total mileage of 40,000 km
2 additional years under Audi extended warranty,
maximum total mileage of 80,000 km
2 additional years under Audi extended warranty,
maximum total mileage of 120,000 km
3 additional years under Audi extended warranty,
maximum total mileage of 50,000 km
3 additional years under Audi extended warranty,
maximum total mileage of 100,000 km
3 additional years under Audi extended warranty,
maximum total mileage of 150,000 km
