Climate control
Auxiliary heating/ventilation
The auxiliary heating warms up the interior and
removes ice from the windows without starting the
engine; the auxiliary ventilation system supplies fresh
air and reduces the temperature of the interior; with
timer and departure time programming (an intelligent
control function for time and energy-improved
calculation of heating duration); separate radio-
operated remote control with illuminated display;
choice of 2 heating modes: “defrost”(defrosting mode
only for the windows) and “warm” (warming up mode
to additionally preheat the interior)
4-zone deluxe automatic air conditioning
In addition to the deluxe automatic air conditioning:
front control panel with digital display, separate
temperature control for driver and front-passenger
sides and for rear passengers; additional air-
conditioning controls with digital display for climate
control in the rear with separately adjustable
temperature and blower settings and air distribution
for the right- and left-hand sides (rear functions can
also be set from the front air-conditioning controls);
with additional air vents in the B pillars; automatic
recirculation mode by means of air quality sensor,
use of residual heat, separate regulation of footwell
temperature, ventilated glove compartment; choice
of 3 climates: gentle, medium, intensive
