adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go function including
Audi pre sense front* is the heart of the driver assistance
systems. On clear roads, it maintains a chosen speed and
keeps the correct distance from the vehicle in front. In slow-
moving traffic or in a traffic jam it regulates slowing down,
starting up and crawling through traffic. At all times radar
sensors, a video camera and the sensors from the parking
system monitor the area around the vehicle. Should they
detect an obstacle, the driver is alerted by a signal tone
and a display on the driver information system.

AB
Audi active lane assist* supports you when travelling at speeds of around 60km/h or above, when you inadvertently drift
out of your lane, for example, through inattentiveness. Before you cross over the lane marking which is detected by the
camera behind the windscreen, a gentle corrective steering movement occurs. If the indicator has been activated, there is
no correction. In the MMI, you have the choice between 2 system settings (steering time early [A] or late [B]).
If your vehicle is fitted with the optional head-up display, a display also appears there. Identification of lane markings by
the sensors is dependent on the weather, lighting and quality of the marking. Audi active lane assist can therefore only
provide assistance to the driver – who is naturally required to remain attentive while driving.
Most road accidents are caused by human error.
Modern assistance systems can help to reduce
their severity. Audi puts various different
technologies to work to help you reach your
destination safely. The assistance systems are
closely networked, which increases their
intelligence, versatility and performance.
With the help of these systems, your journey
will be safer and more relaxed.
