Centre display

Digital radio reception (DAB)

transmitters in addition to the range of analogue

reception depends on the availability of local digital

also receives DAB+ and
DMB audio; with the DAB
twin tuner, a second DAB
tuner permanently searches
for alternative
reception frequencies of the set
station, and the station list is updated at the same

TV reception
reception of analogue and digitally-broadcast (DVB-T)
uncoded television stations (MPEG-2 standard), TV
picture, teletext and EPG (Electronic Programme
Guide). Facility to connect 2 external AV sources via
adapter cables (available from Audi Genuine Accesso-
ries). Please note: TV reception depends on local
analogue and digital network availability.
No AV or TV video output when driving.

MMI® and navigation systems
MMI® radio
integral operating concept, consisting of MMI termi-
nal (control panel) and MMI display (6.5-inch colour
display in the dashboard), additional display in the in-
strument cluster, basic personalisation of vehicle func-
tions, integral radio with phase diversity for optimum
reception, 8 passive loudspeakers at front and rear,
single-CD player supports MP3, WMA and AAC
MMI® radio plus
integral operating concept; as MMI radio, plus
2 SDHC memory card readers (up to 32 GB), including
Audi sound system, Bluetooth interface, driver infor-
mation system (monochrome), TP Memo (automatical-
ly saves traffic news when driving), single-CD player
and memory card readers support MP3, WMA and
AAC, including AUX-IN connection
MMI® navigation
with navigation data (SD card), 6.5-inch colour display
with high-quality map representation and numerous
detailed display options, voice control (entry of desti-
nation by spelling it out), dynamic TMC route guidance

information system, 2 SDHC card readers (for up to
32 GB), CD player (also for CD music), including MMI

MMI® touch
part of MMI navigation plus; touch-sensitive control
panel for intuitive operation of the MMI; letters and
numbers can be entered without drivers taking their
eyes off the road; contextual entry of letters and num-
bers for navigation destinations via handwriting recog-
nition, selection from address book or entry of tele-
phone numbers with acoustic acknowledgement,
simple movement of navigation map and selection of
points of interest; retrieval of 6 freely assignable radio
station presets
Vehicle support based on navigation data
part of MMI Navigation plus with MMI touch; adapta-
tion of transmission and – if installed – adaptive cruise
control with Stop&Go function or adaptive light using
route data stored in the navigation system such as the
sweep of bends and corners or road classifications.
E.g. use of vehicle lighting according to surroundings
(urban area, non-urban areas, motorways and inter-
sections), system also available when navigation is de-
activated
