The engines in the Audi A4: progressive, powerful, efficient. All the petrol engines
are equipped with TFSI, a logical combination of economical direct injection and
turbocharging or mechanical supercharger. The TDI engines feature common rail
injection technology and a diesel particulate filter; the 2.0 litre TDI engine and the
3.0litre TDI engine are also available a clean diesel versions. As standard, all engines
areequipped with the start-stop system and recuperation, which puts them among
themost fuel-efficient engines of their class.
