Engines

Audi TDI engines: high torque output over the entire engine speed

range – with constant power build-up. They are renowned for being

fuel-efficient and for reducing emissions. The 2.0 TDI quattro, for

example, has a power output of 130 kW, a top speed of 228 km/h

(A4 Saloon) and 222 km/h (A4 Avant) and, when equipped with the

6-speed manual transmission, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in

7.8 seconds (A4 Saloon) and 7.9 seconds (A4 Avant).

The Audi TFSI engines offer outstanding efficiency and improved

performance whilst at the same time retaining their dynamism. Take,

for example, the 1.8 TFSI quattro with 125 kW. It accelerates from

0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds (A4 Saloon) and 8.1 seconds (A4 Avant)

and has a top speed of 229 km/h (A4 Saloon) and 220 km/h

(A4 Avant).
