Connect media storage
Do not power on your storage before installing Linux. If you do, the Linux installer might attempt to format
the storage array and use it as the system disk.
The workstation can be connected to two types of media storage:
■ Stone Direct disk arrays: Autodesk's high-performance direct-attached storage (DAS) for individual
workstations.
■ A SAN: infrastructure that allows multiple workstations to share simultaneous access to a central storage
enclosure.
