Instance Routing Rules
Instance Routing Rule documents are the basis for implementing least cost routing between multiple
Sms4Domino instances. But even in a single instance Sms4Domino configuration you must create
at least one Instance Routing Rule document.
Examples on configuring least cost routing are described in separate document in this help file .
The settings in the Instance Routing Rules documents are read into memory when Sms4Domino
starts. If you need to make changes to any of the settings you will have to quit and start the
Sms4Domino application.

The settings are explained using following example: there are two Sms4Domino instances; one
in France and one in Belgium. By preference Sms messages to France should be sent by the
France instance; Sms messages to Belgium should be sent by the Belgium instance. Sms
messages to other countries may be sent by any available server.
However should one of the servers be overloaded or out of service it is allowed to use the other
server.
