Instance configuration settings
Most of the instance related parameters of the Sms4Domino software are specified in the instance
profile in the configuration database. There should be exactly one instance document per
Sms4Domino instance.
It is required to stop and restart Sms4Domino in order to make the modifications to the instance
configuration visible to Sms4Domino.
Every running Sms4Domino program is identified by a unique Instance ID. This ID is a hierarchical
name. We recommend using the same name as the Domino server name where the corresponding
configuration database is located. A running Sms4Domino program reads its Instance ID from the
notes.ini file. More info in the help document

Open the Sms4Domino configuration database.

System -> Instances
in the navigator. The right part of the screen displays all defined

Double-click on an existing instance document or click the action
New Instance

Assign a unique Instance Id to the document. Add a descriptive text for your own use.

Verify all default settings and modify them if necessary. Default settings may be restored at
