Hardware Troubleshooting
To check if you have previously installed ATMEL Wireless LAN card, right click on
“My Computer” and click on “Properties”. Click on the Device Manager tab. If you
have previously installed WLAN card, then one of the following screen should
appear.
Note: Procedures described above is for Windows 98SE, for other users, follow
these steps:
Windows 2000: Right click on “My Computer” and select “Properties”. Click
on “Hardware” tab and then “Device Manager”
Windows ME: Same as Windows 98SE
Windows XP: In Control Panel, click on “Printers and other hardware” and then
on “System” which is located on the left of the screen.
If an exclamation mark appears next to the
USB device, then you need to re-install your
hardware. Proceed to re-installing hardware
for Windows 98SE
, Windows ME, Windows
2000 or Windows XP for further details (click
on the name of your OS)
If you expand Network adapters list and can
see “USB Wireless LAN (A)”, then you have
previously installed WLAN card. Proceed to
installing software utility section to install
Configuration & Monitor Utility software.
