Power consumption
The current used by the EC OEM
is not constant. It changes as the conductivity of the
water changes. For example, if the water has a conductivity of 0, then no electricity is
flowing through the probe, and the current draw will only be what it takes to power the
CPU.
However, if the water has a very high conductivity, then the current draw is higher. After
100,000µs, the current consumption no longer increases (this does not mean the readings
are limited to 100,000µs).
