4.6 ADVANCED-> ALARM->EMAIL
When motion detection is triggered, the system will capture a picture at the time of triggering and send it to
the corresponding mailbox.
Setup->Network->EMAIL
STATUS
Enable or disable the email feature of the DVR. This must be enabled in order to
receive an email notification.
SSL
If Your SMTP need encryption, please select ON in this combo-bar.
SMTP Port
Specify the port number used by the mail server. The default value is 25.
SMTP Server
Specify the name of the mail server
SEND Email
Specify the email address of the sender
SEND PAssword
Specify the password for email authentication
RECV Email
Specify the email address of the recipient
Because of the type and the ISP service company is variety worldwide, Hence, we only
provide 1-2 company for an example, if you have any question of E-mail, please contact
your local ISP service. Please make sure your DVR already connected to internet:
If your E-mail have SSL encryption, you have to enable it.
If your E-mail have SSL encryption, you have to enable it. SSL is a security link transport
protocol. You can encrypt your communication info (including your email) using SSL to
prevent hackers from monitoring your email or communication info and even your
password. Please confirm with your email service provider if your email server support
SSL or not.
Generally the SMTP port value is 25 ,but for SMTP port of G-mail server is 465.
if your E-mail needs to be verified by SSL, the port is going to be 465(default value), and
port 25(default value) is the Email without SSL verification.
Email setup Prerequisite: The mainframe must be connected to the WAN. Please refer to
the Chapter Network for network connection
The resolution used for attached jpg in the mail is CIF(352x288).
