LED INFORMAZIONE PWR Acceso quando connesso alla rete elettrica, può assumere i seguenti stati: • Verde: Indica che la fase di boot è completata ed il prodotto è correttamente avviato. • Rosso: Indica l’esecuzione dei processi di avvio. LAN Acceso fisso quando connesso ad un dispositivo Ethernet. Lampeggiante quando vi è trasmissione/ricezione di dati. USB Accesso quando connesso al PC tramite porta USB. Lampeggiante quando vi è trasmissione/ricezione.
1.3 Le porte posteriori PORTE UTILIZZO LINE (RJ11) Connettere il cavo RJ11 a questa porta per effettuare l’allacciamento del dispositivo alla linea ADSL. USB Connettere con un cavo USB (fornito a corredo). LAN (RJ45) Connettere con un cavo UTP (fornito a corredo). RESET Dopo che il dispositivo è acceso, premere per effettuare il reset o il restore.
POWER (On/Off) Bottone di accensione/spegnimento. 1.4 Connessioni fisiche Anzitutto collegare il prodotto alla linea ADSL tramite il cavo RJ11 fornito in dotazione (nella porta LINE), poi collegare l’alimentatore al WebShare 111U e poi alla presa elettrica. Una volta controllati tutti i collegamenti ed acceso il WebShare 111U il prodotto effettuerà immediatamente una diagnostica (circa 10 secondi).
1.5 Connessione tramite USB Nel caso in cui il prodotto venga utilizzato tramite connessione Ethernet, si prega di passare al paragrafo 1.6. Si prega di collegare il dispositivo solo ed esclusivamente al momento della richiesta da parte dell’utility di installazione del prodotto. Il collegamento del dispositivo in qualsiasi fase precedente potrebbe inficiare sul corretto processo di installazione del prodotto.
5. Selezionare la modalità di installazione tra Typical (consigliata per utenti meno esperti), Compact (consigliata per l’installazione su sistemi poco performanti in termini di capacità o particolarmente datati) e Custom (adatta per utenti esperti) e premere sul pulsante Next per continuare.
5a. 6. 7. Solo nel caso in cui venga selezionata l’opzione Custom, il programma richiederà la definizione della directory nella quale installare i driver e successivamente i componenti da installare. Una schermata riepilogativa mostrerà l’opzione di installazione selezionata ed il percorso nel quale verranno installati i driver del dispositivo. Premere sul pulsante Next per avviare il processo di installazione.
Durante l’installazione su sistemi operativi Windows VISTA (32 e 64bit), il sistema potrebbe segnalare l’impossibilità di riconoscimento dell’autore del driver. In questo caso, selezionare la voce “Installa il software del driver” per poter terminare l’installazione del prodotto.

Cliccare due volte su Local Area Connection. In Local Area Connection Status cliccare Properties. Selezionare Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) e cliccare su Properties. Selezionare l’opzione Obtain an IP address automatically e successivamente Obtain DNS server address automatically.

Selezionare l’opzione Ottieni automaticamente un indirizzo IP e successivamente Ottieni indirizzi server DNS automaticamente. Premere su OK per terminare la configurazione. 1.7 Configurazione del browser Al fine di permettere la navigazione Internet tramite il WebShare 111U, di seguito riportiamo la configurazione necessaria per i più comuni browser presenti sul mercato: Internet Explorer 7/8 1. 2.
1.8 Utility di configurazione Atlantis Land WebShare 111U dispone di un utility per la configurazione facilitata del dispositivo, al fine di garantire un installazione semplice e veloce anche per gli utenti meno esperti. Per avviare l’utilità di configurazione, si prega di fare riferimento alla procedura sottostante: 1. Inserire il CD-Rom contenuto nella confezione e attendere l’avvio del programma Autorun.

APPENDICE B: Troubleshooting Questo capitolo illustra come identificare e risolvere eventuali problemi sul WebShare 111U . A.1 Utilizzare i LED per la diagnosi dei problemi I LEDs sono un utile strumento per individuare eventuali problemi, osservandone lo stato è possibile individuare velocemente dove si verifica un eventuale malfunzionamento. Accertarsi di utilizzare un indirizzo IP corretto, appartenente alla stessa rete del Router ADSL. Se è stato modificato l’indirizzo IP lato LAN del Router ADSL è necessario modificare L’URL di accesso al prodotto.
3 Password: atlantis Per incrementare il livello di sicurezza del sistema è molto importante modificare la password di default. A.5 Interfaccia LAN Non è possible accedere al WebShare 111U dalla LAN e nemmeno eseguire un ping dal router verso i PC della rete. Steps Azione correttiva 1 Verificare che i LEDs relativi alle porte LAN posti sul pannello frontale del WebShare WebShare 111U siano accesi in corrispondenza dei cavi di rete collegati. Se entrambi i LEDs sono spenti fare riferimento alla sezione A.
A.7 Accesso ad Internet Non è possibile accedere ad Internet. Steps Azione correttiva 1 Accertarsi che il Router ADSL sia stato impostato correttamente per la connessione ad Internet. 2 Se il LED ADSL è spento fare riferimento alla sezione A.1.3. La connessione ad Internet si disconnette. Steps Azione correttiva 1 Verificare le impostazioni di scheduling della connessione. 2 Se si utilizzano i protocolli PPPoA e PPPoE per la connessione verificare le impostazioni di IDLE-TIMEOUT.
A.9 Varie La navigazione avviene senza problemi ma l’invio di allegati nelle mail crea problemi. Steps Azione correttiva 1 Accedere via WEB al Router, cliccare su Interface Setup->Internet e cambiare la voce TCP MTU Option in 1450 (anziché il valore 0 di default). 2 Contattare il proprio Internet Service Provider e verificare che non siano presenti problematiche sulle infrastrutture di rete. 3 Riavviare il Router ADSL. Se il problema persiste contattare l’assistenza tecnica Atlantis Land.

LED MEANING PWR When the power is plugged in, it will lit Red and when the system is ready, it will lit Green. LAN Lit when connected to an Ethernet device. Blinking when data is Transmitted / Received. USB Lit when connected to the PC and is working properly. ADSL Lit when successfully connected to an ADSL DSLAM ( “linesync” ) PPP Lit red when WAN fails to PPPoA / PPPoE connection. Lit green when WAN get to PPPoA / PPPoE connection.
1.3 The Rear Ports PORT MEANING LINE (RJ11) Connect the supplied RJ-11 cable to this port when connecting to the ADSL/telephone network. USB User can connect to PC using an alternative USB cable through this port. LAN (RJ45) RESET POWER (jack) Connect a UTP Ethernet cable (Cat-5 or Cat-5e) to the Ethernet port when connecting to a PC or an office/home network of 10Mbps or 100Mbps. After the device has turned on, press it to reset the device or restore to factory default settings.
POWER(ON/OFF) A Power ON/OFF switch. 1.4 Cabling First you must connect the product to the ADSL line through the RJ11 cable you have in equipment (in the port LINE) and connect the AC Adapter to the WebShare 111U and then to the socket. Once you’ve checked all the connections and you’ve switched on the Router the product will carry on immediately a diagnosis (about 10 seconds).
1.5 USB Connection Do not plug USB Modem to Your PC before install USB driver. WebShare 111U also has an USB interface in order to connect the device with a PC using a free USB port (rev1.1 or 2.0). After USB driver installation, the device can be connected to the PC and You will have a new LAN connetion based on USB bus (named ADSL Company ADSL USB Modem).
4. Select the installation mode between Typical (suggested), Compact and Custom. 4a. Choosing Custom installation’s method, you have to confirm destination path for driver installation and which components You have to install. Now, the installation utility will ask You to plug USB modem to your PC. 5.
6. Follow instrunctions shown on the screen in order to complete the installation. During installation, using Windows VISTA (32 or 64-bit) the OS can ask You to confirm driver installation. Please choose installation. “Install software” to terminate driver When You plug USB modem to your PC, the operating system can start an automatic procedure to install new devices. Please stop this procedure in order to complete the installation.
1.6 TCP/IP Configuration Configuring PC (Windows 2000) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel. In the Control Panel, doubleclick on Network and Dial-up Connections. APPENDIX B: Troubleshooting This chapter covers potential problems and the corresponding remedies. A.1 Using LEDs to diagnose problems The LEDs are useful aides for finding possible problem causes. A.1.1 Power LED The PWR LED on the front panel does not light up. Steps Corrective Action 1 Make sure that the ADSL Router’s power adaptor is connected to the ADSL Router and plugged in to an appropriate power source. Use only the supplied power adaptor.
Steps 1 2 3 4 Corrective Action Check the telephone wire and connections between the ADSL Router DSL port and the wall jack. Make sure that the telephone company has checked your phone line and set it up for DSL service. Reset your ADSL line to reinitialize your link to the DSLAM. For details, refer to the Maintenance chapter (web configurator) or the System Information and Diagnosis chapter. If these steps fail to correct the problem, contact your local distributor for assistance. A.

Steps Corrective Action 1 Make sure the ADSL Router is turned on and connected to the network. 2 If the DSL LED is off, refer to Section A.1.3. 3 Verify your WAN settings.

LED PWR LAN USB SIGNIFICATION Allumé Rouge quand le WebShare 111U Router est sous tension. Allumé vert pour indiquer que le système est actif. 1.3 Face arrière PORT USAGE LINE(RJ11) Connectez le câble (fourni) RJ11 au filtre ADSL (optionnel) et enfin à la prise téléphonique. USB Connectez le le câble (fourni) USB a le calculateur. LAN Relier directement avec un câble Ethernet standard ou croisé aux PC ou à un port uplink (Hub/Switch). (RJ45) (remise à zéro) Dispositif allumé, presser pour effectuer le reset ou le restore.
POWER Switch Presser pour allumer / éteindre le Router. 1.4 Câblage Après avoir terminé le câblage, raccordez l’alimentation pour mettre le WebShare 111U sous tension. Assurez-vous que les LEDs sont correctement allumés. Connectez un câble réseau standard ou croisé pour relier le Router à un Hub/Switch ou aux PC. Une fois toutes les liaisons effectuées et le WebShare 111U allumé, le produit effectuera un diagnostique (d'une soixantaine de secondes).
1.5 Connession USB Avant de connecter le WebShare 111U au PC (avec le cable USB), il est imperatif d’installer le logiciel de configuration. 1. 2. Insérer le CD dans le lecteur de CDRom et choise le produit “A02RA111”. Cliquer sur le lien correct (selon le SO dans l’ordinateur). Pour lancer les Pilotes directement, une fois le CD inséré dans le lecteur CDRom, cliquer sur l'icône setup (CDRom:\A02RA11U\Driver\\setup.exe).
4. A ce stade le Système d’Exploitation vous demandera de relier le WebShare 111U à l’Ordinateur avec le câble USB puis il terminera l'installation des drivers automatiquement, il faudra ensuite redemarrer le PC.
