6.2.3 DTMF Generation
The phone supports DTMF generation using in-band and RFC2833. To set the DTMF generation
method, follow these steps:
1. Press the ‘Menu / Delete’ button to enter the phone menu.
2. Scroll down and enter ‘Settings’.
3. Scroll down and enter ‘DTMF Generation’.

4. Three options, namely ‘In Band’, ‘DTMF RFC2833’ and ‘Both’ are available. Scroll
up/down to select the preferred mode.

5. Press ‘OK’ to save the change.
6.2.4 Adjustable Jitter Buffer
The adjustable jitter buffer helps to absorb the delay jitter caused in packet transmission and
reorder the out-of-sequence RTP audio packets in Internet telephony (VoIP) network.
To adjust the jitter buffer size, follow these steps:
1. Press the ‘Menu / Delete’ button to enter the phone menu.
