Possible faults

Allow the motor to cool off and then continue work
using less pressure

Workpiece sticks when

The longitudinal or parallel stop is not
parallel to the saw blade, see p. 23
Hold the workpiece firmly and switch the motor off
immediately. The have the saw blade sharpened or
renew
Readjust the scale, see p. 23
Burn marks at the cut edges
Saw blade is unsuitable for the cutting
task or blunt
Replace saw blade or have it sharpened
