To transport the device stop the engine and wait until the
cutting device does not longer move. Attach the protective
cover.
 Carry the device with the front handle.
 When transporting the device within a car put it in the boot
or on a separate loading area. Secure the hedge trimmer
against tipping over, damages and fuel spillage.
Storage
 Store unused devices with attached protective cover in a
dry, locked place out of the reach of children.
 To extend the service life of the hedge trimmer and
guarantee smooth operation, before storing for a longer
period
B thoroughly clean the device
B treat all movable parts with an environmentally friendly
oil
L Never use any grease!
B Slide the protective cover on the cutting device.
B Remove the spark plug connector.
B Empty the fuel tank completely.
L Dispose of remaining fuel in an environmentally
compatible manner.
B Operate the engine until the carburettor is empty.
