Audio Settings
To open the DTV Audio Settings page
Click the Setup button in the DTV control panel, and
then click the Audio tab.
Selection Function
Multi-channel
Audio Options
Decode and down-mix to 2 channels
Converts an AC-3 audio stream to PCM, and down-mixes
it to 2, 4, or 6 speakers.
Pass through to audio device
The audio decoder “passes-through” non-PCM
multichannel audio to an audio device that supports AC-3
input.
• Only enabled if there is a compatible S/PDIF audio
device on the system, and you enable Pass through.
