File Player Audio Settings
To set up File Player audio
Click the Setup button in the File Player control panel,
and then click the Audio tab.
Audio setup is available only if the DTV feature is
installed (see page 65).

Audio options
Decode and down-mix to x speakers
Converts an AC-3 audio stream to PCM, and down-mixes
it to 2, 4, or 6 speakers.
Pass through to audio device
Some audio cards may incorrectly report several audio
devices that support non-PCM audio input
(Dolby® Digital, DTS, etc.). For correct operation, you
should specify the audio device you want to use.
• If only one audio device reports support for non-PCM
audio, the audio device selection is greyed-out and
displays the only choice.
• If no audio devices report support for non-PCM audio,
only the Decode and down-mix to 2 channels is
available.
Downmix

Stereo
Play audio in 2-channel stereo.
Dolby® Pro Logic®
Play audio using Dolby Pro Logic.
