1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 About the DC-Air™
DC-Air™ is the world’s first wireless intraoral sensor that uses the latest Bluetooth® 5.0 communication
standards for reliable and rapid transmission of radiographic images. DC-Air™ is also the world’s first intraoral
X-ray sensor to utilize direct-conversion X-ray technology which converts X-ray photons directly into digital
image data without scintillating photons into visible light. This process ensures the highest possible Modulation
Transfer Function (MTF), a measure expressing true resolution and sharpness, that is natively achieved.
