Temperature Sensor Location and Information
The KVM Over the NET™ switch has 4 temperature sensors on its mainboard
that feed realtime temperature updates to the WinClient / Java Client Device
Management page.
The sensors in the above image are described in the Device Information section
under Temperature. See Temperature, page 157 for details
Note: The temperature inside the case can be higher than the ambient (room)
temperature (0–50
° C). IC chips can tolerate temperatures of up to 105°
C. If the temperature reading rises past 85
° C or so, you should either
make the ambient temperature cooler or, if necessary, shut the switch
down until it cools off.
